Artist Statement
Combining practices and materials inspire me. Working in diverse ways and trying out new is something that keeps me passionate. I avoid restraining myself into one profession. Currently, I’m working with painting, digital art, illustrations, graphic design, photography, writing and fabrics. Materials, both immaterial and physical, are an important part of my practice. I seek to find materials as left behind, trash or recycled.
At the moment I´m processing themes around nature relationships, the
necessity of imagination and stories, obscure feelings and touchable and
untouchable materials. In life, finding things excites me. My most recent projects of wearable art aim to find imaginative ways to react and act to confront the unsustainable value culture around clothing and single-use thinking, by finding appreciation and love for what we already have.
