Abstract
Parsa Kamehkhosh is taking the opportunity of this presentation to read an important message for his audience. The message is received from the other side, specifically for this presentation and through a series of practices that he has been engaged with for the last couple of years. He starts off by preparing himself and his audience for pure listening, hoping the message touches everyone.
Bio
Parsa Kamehkhosh (b.1985) is a human being currently based in Helsinki, Finland. It’s been a year since he has started a life-long project called congratulations in which he explores the matter of life and death by living and getting prepared for death. This ongoing project shapes the ideological backbone of his artistic practices and throws light on the rest of his activities as well. He set up his explorations initially in the field, known as product design and automotive design. After more than a decade of observations and experiments his fascination for the matter of aesthetics, gradually gravitated him towards what it’s been called as visual and performance art. Currently, he is working on a new body of work for his next show coming in winter 2019.
