Artist Statement
The starting point of my practice is to think about how abstract concepts are displayed and grew within the digital tools (softwares, user interfaces, online platforms, etc). I observe the public’s behaviours and attitudes toward digital objects, and seek to create an alternative viewpoint by playing with web-based techniques and visual narration. I also value the art that could radicalize the ordinary business scenes and challenge the corporate hegemony. The poetry of tools is what I always consider when working with digital mediums.
As an art practitioner, I would like to be seen as a service provider rather than an author or owner. Online curatorial practice is my current focus. I hope to expand people’s preconceived experiences with digital objects, and to advocate for a more inclusive, more intuitive, and more emotionally connected online space.
